How To Calculate The Video Wall Size? (LED Part)
The topic I will introduce to you today is: How to calculate the installation area of the LED video wall.
The LED models of BRWall are divided into four series: TWA, TWB, TWE, and TWM. After that, we will have a dedicated blog to introduce the differences between these series.
The most important factor in calculating the LED installation area is to understand the size of the LED cabinet or module. The picture below shows the cabinet we are using for different LED models, the red part represents the cabinet we can provide, Of course, we can also customize other sizes according to customer needs.
Let us use the most common 640*480mm LED cabinet to calculate. Assuming that the customer requires an installation area of 5m*3m, then we can choose a model from the LED models that support 640*480. For example P2, let us start the calculation.
Number of horizontal LED cabinet: 5000mm÷640mm=7.8125
Number of vertical LED cabinet: 3000mm÷480mm=6.25
So if it is specified that the installation area of the LED video wall cannot exceed 5m*3m, then the number of cabinets required is 7x6=42 units, and the installation area is 4480mm*2880mm, Resolution is 2240(4480mm÷2)x1440(2880÷2).
If the area allowed for installation exceeds the area of 5x3m, but the range can not be too much. Then you can consider using 8*7 total 56 LED cabinets. In this way, the installation area of the LED video wall is 5120mm*3360mm
Although the size of the cabinet is different, the calculation method is the same. So have you learned it?
